What this template does and does not claim
- Cloud sync is available for signed-in users; guest work survives a browser reload.
- Library adds are blocked when the rack has no free U left for that device height.
- Each saved design holds one rack.
- The ?example= param loads once and is stripped so a reload cannot silently overwrite your work.
- RackBuilder does not store chassis weights, does not calculate BTU or circuit amps, and does not perform depth checks.
- The APC PDU entry is a library placeholder; confirm the real SKU against your site standards.
Ask a licensed electrician or qualified installer before you size power, circuits, or mounting. Follow the manufacturer install guide for rails and fasteners. RackBuilder does not size structural hardware.

A 24U cabinet can hold this template stack (router, PoE switch, patch, NAS, 1U server, UPS) with spare U for growth when the cabinet outside height and published usable depth match your site. Confirm those dimensions against each device datasheet. RackBuilder does not perform depth checks.
Who should size power for this small business layout?
A licensed electrician or facilities contact should size circuits, PDUs, and UPS runtime from nameplate totals. RackBuilder does not calculate BTU or circuit amps.
